SM2 is a master alloy for 750-917‰ (18-22 Kt) yellow gold jewelry, designed for mechanical working.
It is suitable for continuous casting and for ingot casting of semi-finished items such as sheet, wire, tube.
The main processes in which SM2 can be used are stamping, blanking, cladding, hollow tube, hollow chain production, TIG tube, CNC and lathe production.
The color of 750‰ gold made using SM2 shows a yellow hue. In title 917‰ the alloy shows a rich yellow hue.
