OG605Z is a master alloy for 750‰ (18 Kt) yellow gold jewelry, designed for mechanical working.
OG605Z is suitable for continuous casting and for ingot casting of semi-finished items such as sheet and wire.
The main processes in which OG605Z can be used are stamping, chain making, hollow chain, TIG tube and cladding production.
The color of 750‰ gold made using OG605Z shows a light yellow hue.
The hardness of 750‰ gold alloyed with OG605Z can be moderately increased by means of a heat treatment.
